Java Implementation

The General Internet Messaging Protocol for Signalling (GIMPS) is the transport layer of NSIS. The Java implementation of GIMPS version 6 is available for download.

The basic functionalities included in this distribution of GIMPS are:

Handshake (UDP and TCP)
Association Reuse
Message Interception
Message Forwarding
NSLP API

The GIMPS Ping application is a tool for testing GIMPS implementations. The Java implementation of the GIMPS Ping application, adapted from the GIMPS Ping implementation provided by the University of Gottingen , is available for download.
